Day 11: Revelstoke British Columbia, 4813.7km

In the Rockies

Coming out of Glacier National Park after a full day of hiking we managed to get to Revelstoke in time for a shower at the community center and dinner at a local cafe.  Because of a local event all the campgrounds were full so we took the advice of the nice lady at the information center and pitched our tent down a side road on a grassy spot by the lake.  It was very windy and looked like we might have strong rains all night but in the morning we woke to find our grassy spot still dry.  We had a tasty french-style breakfast at the local bakery and began our final descent out of the mountains.
