Last day in Asia

Today is the one year anniversary of the day we left for India and started our travels.  So far we’ve visited seven countries, met lots of new people, learned how to barter and lived for an average of $17 a day.  Asia has been fascinating, difficult, exciting and revealing.  Nat and I have filled in a lot of knowledge, geography and history which was conspicuously lacking from the Canadian curriculum.

We leave today for Perth, Australia where we will stay to work and live for a while.  In the mean time, here is a rough map of where we’ve been for the past 7.5 months:

Thailand

Laos

Vietnam

Cambodia

Malaysia

Indonesia (Sumatra)
